How does the process work?
Engagement begins with an intake call where we get to know one another, understand goals for your child’s education, and where you see the greatest needs. From there, pertinent documentation will be shared which will be thoroughly reviewed and then discussed in a 60 minute follow-up call. On an ongoing basis, families can book sessions as needed to discuss the variety of topics and services outlined on the home page or select the annual subscription as detailed below.
Do you Tutor?
Executive functioning training helps individuals, especially kids and teens, build skills to manage their thinking, behavior, and emotions more effectively. The training is practical and personalized, and it focuses on developing tools and strategies for real-life success at school, home, and beyond. While it is anticipated that such improvements may contribute to greater academic success, my services do not guarantee elevated grades, given that there are a multitude of factors that influence academic outcomes.
Is it virtual or in-person?
Meetings are virtual video calls and can be accommodated at your schedule.
How frequent are the coaching sessions?
As needed, you set the schedule and frequency that works best for your child’s educational needs.
Is the child also involved in the coaching sessions?
For Executive Functioning coaching, absolutely! For post psychoeducational assessment planning services, initially, it is usually a conversation between the parent/guardian and Lisa. The child can be brought into subsequent sessions as deemed appropriate by the parent/guardian.
